Just as Post Conceptual UnGraven Image Art theory — using symbols for strokes — is radically new art for the twenty-first century, Scripture Word Portraits are a new kind of portrait painting. What is radical is that the letter-strokes are used in the same manner as strokes in traditional art. They can overlap, be upside down, and used as glazes. The strokes are not meant to be read by the viewer. They represent the words of the Creator, understood to be the building blocks of the universe, which cutting edge science explains as the smallest pre-matter and energies of the universe (smaller even than particles).
